Edge Arrising is just taking the sharpness off the edge of the glass. It does not give it a smooth clean finish.
It makes the glass easier to handle as it removes the risk of cutting yourself.
Toughened glass comes arrised as standard.
We have examples of Arrising in comparison to polishing in our shop
The timescale on annealed glass arrising is 1 - 2 days.
Beware glass arrising is not a perfect finish to the edge of the glass and is not a cheaper option to polished edges.
