What is Laminated Glass?

Laminated glass is a form of safety glass. It is two panes of glass stuck together with a thin sheet between them.

This means that when the glass is broken, the glass remains in place.

It is the law to have laminated glass as safety glass in public buildings.

Laminated comes in many thicknesses including:

  • 4.4mm
  • 6.4mm
  • 7.8mm
  • 8.8mm
  • 10.8mm
  • 11.8mm
We stock 4.4mm & 6.4mm. Other thicknesses can be ordered in on request.

Patterned Laminated glass is also available in 7.8mm but only available in 3 patterns, which include:
